What is your cancellation policy?

If your booking is more than 4 weeks away, please contact me for a refund. Unfortunately, for bookings less than 4 weeks away, I cannot refund a booking unless I can re-book the place.  Please contact me as soon as possible.

What are the timings?

The workshop starts promptly at 10.30 but if you fancy a cuppa beforehand, you can turn up at 10am. Lunch is approximately 1pm and you should be finished by about 4.30/5 - I won't kick you out if you need a bit longer!

I’ve never done this type of thing before – will it be too complicated?

The workshop has been created with beginners in mind . The experience is a fun and relaxed one,  you will be able to take your time and chat as you make.  I will be guiding you through every  stage of the process and giving  1 to 1 support throughout the day. Everyone leaves with a high quality,  professionally finished piece of artwork, ready to hang and enjoy.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope, just yourself. I provide a full kit of all the tools and materials you will need along with framing and a full spectrum of colour choices to make your artwork truly bespoke to you. If you want to bring any colour inspiration with you, feel free, it's not always easy to decide!

Is there a minimum age?

The workshop has been created with adults in mind however if you have an enthusiastic 16+ teenager, this would be a lovely experience to share.

Is there disabled access?

To access the workshop room and bathroom facilities, there are a couple of steps.  Please contact me discuss any access queries.

How do I book a workshop?

Please visit  the shop page and select the Wrap workshop where you will be able to choose the best date to suit you.

You can pay with a credit / debit card or via PayPal.

What if the workshop date is fully booked?

I add dates throughout the year so please contact me if you are interested in attending but places are booked up.

What if I would like to book for a group of us – can we choose another date?

I am happy to host the workshop for groups. If you would like to combine a workshop and stay at @sandyshorebroadstairs, I can accommodate 4 staying guests.  If you would like to book a group workshop without a stay, I can accommodate groups of up to 6. Contact me to discuss your requirements.

Can you provide a Gift Voucher?

Yes.  Please visit the shop to purchase.  Gift Vouchers can only be for the full price of a workshop -  £135 for the full day.  Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are supplied with a beautiful card or as a PDF via email.

What should I wear?

Anything you like.  This is not a messy workshop. There is a mixture of hard floors and carpet so feel free to bring your slippers!

Is there parking?

Yes.  We live on a private road and there is space on our driveway for 2/3 cars. If full, there is free parking at the end of our road.

I live in London - is it possible to do this in a day and not drive?

You can! The train service into Broadstairs leaves from St Pancras International and Stratford International. The fast train takes approximately 1hr 20 and is direct into Broadstairs.

Sandy Shore is a a 15 minute walk from the station.

What food and drink do you provide?

I will provide continuous access to hot and cold drinks and biscuits. I provide a varied and interesting vegetarian lunch (usually a quiche and choice of salads). In the afternoon, I provide homemade cake. If you have very specific dietary needs, please get in touch and I will try to help.

Will you make contact prior to the workshop?

Yes. I will send travel directions and any extra information needed.

I have another question that has not been answered on this page.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
